Both are new positions created to help leverage the company's track record of high growth into new markets and shepherd innovation around its flagship product, MindManager Pro.

Neil Mendelson is responsible for managing all current and future Mindjet products and technologies. Possessing an uncanny ability to foresee areas of growth, Mendelson brings more than 20 years of experience creating and seeding product categories and building business. He joins Mindjet from Business Objects, where he was responsible for a $1 billion product portfolio, led the company's entry into the mid-market and led development of its first software-as-a-service offerings. Mendelson previously spent 17 years at Oracle. He served as vice president of product management and product marketing and was responsible for the company's business intelligence and data warehousing products, which grew into a $2 billion business under his leadership.
Mary Gilbert assumes responsibility for all aspects of Mindjet global marketing. Gilbert comes from advertising giant McCann Worldgroup where she successfully helped transform the San Francisco operation from a traditional advertising shop to a multi-dimensional integrated agency with global strategic, digital and analytics services. Mary also led the McCann relationship with Microsoft's US subsidiary. She was responsible for strategic leadership of integrated marketing communications for Microsoft, setting overall strategic priorities and account direction, and helping unify communications across all global markets.
Gilbert brings a keen marketing focus developed over her 19-year career of building integrated marketing, database and digital marketing capabilities for companies such as AOL, Cisco, 3Com, Microsoft, Sun and Oracle. Gilbert was a founder of Miller/Huber Relationship Marketing, which became a leading West Coast technology marketing services firm. She has also held management positions at file sharing service provider Driveway.com and direct marketing services agency Cohn & Wells.
